FAQ

About

  • WHAT IS A SPRUNG FLOOR?

“Sprung Flooring” is an industry term for flooring suspended upward from a concrete, wood, or steel substrate – installed to lessen and/or eliminate dancer or instructor injury.

  • WHY ARE L’AIR FLOORS “ENGINEERED”?

Unlike many other sprung floor companies that offer “copies of copies”, L’AIR started by engineering new designs that were based on actual industry research and testing – using the least, most environmental friendly materials to create the most durable, consistent sprung flooring available.

  • AREN’T ALL SPRUNG FLOORS ALIKE?

No. Only L’AIR suspended sprung flooring has considered all aspects of dance industry criteria including accurate and consistent suspension, low profile, durability and longevity – a result of engineering instead of copying other company’s designs. Also, L’AIR flooring is the only suspended sprung flooring that has been acoustically tested, with ratings for quiet use in both ground and upper level installations.
